this is making me a little uncomfortable ngl :/ like i get what you’re trying to go for, but imagining myself in jaden’s shoes? i’d be mortified being stripped naked by a coworker. i don’t care if the coworker is another woman, it still feels very inappropriate to do this without asking for explicit consent you know?
idk maybe i’m taking it too seriously. but other instances of potential harassment in the comic are also taken more seriously than this and are framed as bad (ie brick and blaire asking riley invasive questions, babygirl in just about every panel), so i was a bit disappointed to see this!

To the gendie anons: The gag/trope of undressing someone behind a curtain is older than anyone of you, and it has been used for way longer as gag. Jaden would punch Ari if she was uncomfortable, but like Anonymoo said, all of you are uncomfortable for a gag but a man beating Jaden is ok because… trancephobia? she was asking for it?

This makes me think of this weird mobile game called Love Nikki where a blood curse means no one can do violence so all disputes are settled with dress up battles. It’s as weird as it sounds. Ari would clean up in that universe.
Is Nelly used to having clothes fired at her like this? Very smooth duck under that shirt. 😎 Ari also totally needs one of those party cannons that blast confetti every which way, but with a “snazzy clothes” setting that plasters an entire chic outfit onto her ̶v̶i̶c̶t̶i̶m̶s̶ guests.
I bet the people whining about the make-over are the same ones who a threw a fit about Faith being a lesbian. And somehow not one of them complains about clothes being thrown at the guests?
