The new layout looks great! I really do feel for them both, though. :’)
I feel so bad for Josie, she doesn’t want Jaden trapped without an education like she is. Becoming a doctor would give Jaden a comfortable and secure life, that’s all a parent wants for their child. But we all only have one life to live.
oh no, were they hanging out the sheets to dry, or were they picking the sheets off the line? with all that rain, those sheets must be soaked by now!

That’s some nice symbolic rain! I completely understand Josie, and I do agree with her haha but maybe it’s partly due to the big Asian influence in my upbringing. But Jaden is an adult now and needs to make her own decisions in life, too. If her choices end up a mistake, they’re a mistake, but it’s her own life, she knows herself best, and there does come a point where we have to decide for ourselves the direction of our lives.
Her mom was right thought, she’s talking out of a broken heart ;;^;;…
