And that's a wrap ladies! I know last time I said there was 2 pages to go, but I figured out how to fit everything I wanted into one page, so, here ya go!
I'm really really happy with it myself :D Thank you so much for reading and supporting Lease Bound thus far.
I've already started scripting the next several chapters, but I do want to shift my primary focus on getting LB's first Volume ready to be printed into physical copies. I have slowly been working on it between pages, but haven't made as much progress as I'd like.
I'll be posting some more exact dates to expect the next chapter soon. Sorry to leave you on such an anticipated cliff-hanger, lmao!

Ah, every time I see Riley’s tense fear/anxiety response to even the *idea* of Blaire-Jaden interactions I want to gently cup her face in my hands and go “Riley. Darling angel woman. This is NOT how you are meant to feel about the thought of your girlfriend meeting someone you get along with. Something is *wrong* here.”
The worst part is that she does understand that something is wrong! She’s just misattributing it to Jaden (-‘s inexperience with trans stuff) instead of Blaire. :///
I find all of these characters so interesting, they’re such good fun to read about! <3 loving this reread (a fact I've definitely mentioned before, lol).
This chapter, I think. Probably remains my favorite LB chapter so far. The whole thing is just such a constant art skills flex with the scenery. I remember gushing over the scenery and I remain just as impressed and elated with all your artwork on this chapter.
This feels like THE “slice of life” chapter as well. Just some nice characters having a fine time doing normal things and enjoying each other’s company. In a lot of media I do love drama and darkness and Twisted Emotions, I like gut punches and horrible things happening… But when it comes to LeaseBound I truly find these characters likable and I like it best when they’re all just having a fun time together with no stress at all. π *shoves Blair under a rug – she’s not real and can’t hurt us*
During my Leasebound re-read I have to laugh at your little hatedom (fandom + hate) group constantly going on and on about how JADEN AND RILEY HAVE NO INTERACTIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! it’s so crazy. do these people read the comic, do they know about reading ?
Like you’re trying to make a World here and have them have Friends and stuff. not spend every chapter gushing over just one another. Jaden and Riley live in a World with Other People. a lot of romance stuff only seems to care about the Main Characters interacting and they barely have any outside relationships at all lol. I really like how LB is different. Riley’s isolation and lack of other relationships is going to be shown to be a Problem for her I assume. It’s just a little sad or sometimes even Creepy when romance characters have no one else but each other isn’t it…? π
but yeah one of my points is that these two characters really have had a LOT of meaningful interaction, and looking back at all the chapters I’ve read so far, I don’t think any other pair of characters has interacted more then Riley and Jaden have? uuhh?? so yeah i just. what a weird criticism from people who don’t read, right?
And my other point is BEST LEASEBOUND CHAPTER IS CHAPTER SEVEN WOO HOO LET’S GO SCOOTING LET’S GO RILEY TOURS LET’S GO SHOPPING FUN FUN FUN CHARACTERS HAVING FUN YAY SO NICE SO FUN SO SLICE OF LIFE YAY
(of course. that’s just me. Slice Of Life Look At Them Having Fun Enjoyer. i can def see why other people would prefer some of the other chapters much more)
i fully expect one day there will be a chapter that blows this one out of the water. I am excited for that glorious day. I really know once the focus shifts onto Riley I’m going to enjoy that a lot. I like Riley a lot. (I like a lot of the characters a lot. *nods*)
