Here’s an idea of how I progressed to Jaden’s final colours.
The desire to make her look good with both Riley and Blaire was definitely part of the deciding factor. And the final one I feel went with the most combinations, regardless of which Blaire dress won the vote.

On Blaire’s dress vote, I knew whichever was voted 1st, would get ruined by Timothy (biggest emotional impact since the most readers liked it) and whatever came in second would be her back up dress.
So if Green came in 2nd instead of Red, the scene would have played out the same, except Blaire would be wearing green.
But if the Blue dress got 2nd place, the focus would more be on the change to her hair.
