It's funny, when I was first writing this scene it was going to happen in another room, I was fretting about that making for a visually boring scene, and then it was like Ari herself leaned down and whispered to me 'yo what if I knew magic tricks tho?'. It was really my first taste of her eccentricity as a character and a reminder I'm allowed to be silly and have fun. So thanks Ari <3 Expect more lmao

I must admit, I did not see that coming! l love how enthralled the “audience” is with Ari, because we’re all right here with them. The last chapter was so heavy and serious, and this chapter promises to get dramatic as well, so I’m really glad to get this silly, fun interlude of just Ari being Ari. Something about her gives the impression of being indomitable, and that is just so nice to see in a woman.
Ari is the representation the Dramatic Jewish Lesbian community desperately needs and I would like to kiss her on the mouth.
Normally, I like my Birthdays to be a quiet affair. But Ari can spice it up *any* time 👀
The colors are so nice on this one! The whole chapter has been candy for my eyes (the panel with That Man excluded!!!). Ari, baby, you’re a joy and I’m so happy to see more of you. Whenever we get to know a side character, it’s always so interesting!

Jaden’s had some great faces over the last couple pages, especially her big goggle eyes while getting dumped into the chair by Ari. 🤭 Her hair poofing up in surprise with the rest of her is such a cute, silly touch.
