I’m back at the computer after a (mostly) relaxing month off. I’ve spent the last week stuck in bed, but other than that, it’s been really nice to unwind. The character sprites aren’t finished yet, but I’m enjoying getting back into the groove of things.
Here’s a mock up of the title card. I couldn’t settle on a name for this chapter for a while, despite knowing the story it was going to cover, but then, suddenly, it came to me:

Wait, in that case, does Jaden not have a silhouette here? None of them look much like her (or Riley or Blaire). Wonder who the woman is between Parniya and Violet; she looks like she’s got her hair tied into a bow, or has a decorated beanie or something! Could be Josie? I know she ties the front of her headwrap (not sure what it’s called), though I didn’t think it looked as pronounced as the silhouette does.
Also, it’s those two people I thought were Blaire’s parents! Blaire backstory clues incoming in chapter 15?!!!?! I’m so excited!!!!! Glad you have had a chance to relax even though you’ve been stuck in bed. I will be delighted to see where this goes.
