(FR though, this is a great storyline! But ofc all these cliffhangers for our beloved Shez are going to make us want to see what happens next ASAP lmao.)
Oh no Shez v_v this is so horrible, so painful and yet so true v_v… She really put in her head that she was the one who was responsible for saving her family. Yet she still doesn’t even blame her mom who, technically, brought Chris into their lives.
Probably because thankfully, Merriam chose herself and her daughters as soon as Chris showed his true face. I cannot blame Merriam, she was in a desperate situation to begin with and he manipulated her into his web.
Now we see clearly the parallel between Shez and Jaden, both were so young yet so convinced that if things around them didn’t improve, it was their fault. They think they failed their parents, that if they had been better, stronger, none of this would have happened.
Children very much think in absolute and the guilt they grow up with, then carry into their adulthood is never talked about. Women are just expected to “move on” from it without any help nor support.
You are making me cry, Rusty. I am not more nervous because I know Shez and her family are safe and sound in the present 🙁

and then a car swerves by at the perfect angle to send chris flying and leave shez completely untouched (idk how, maybe it takes everything but his arms) and meriam and the girls use his credit card to buy a nice hotel. right, rusty? right 🥲??
