Ruth and Naomi being ex nuns reminds me of some lesbian novel I read where it was girls at a convent escaping to be together. The only reason they wanted to go there in the first place was to avoid “when will you find the right man”itis
This page feels so much more emotional now that it all connects with Shez and her backstory! I also find Parniya so cute in her childhood flashback.
I know it’s said in her bio Violet has some self doubts because of her extremely young age she had Faith, but I think with the fact she’s proud of her kid and takes full responsibility shows she’s at least doing a better job than most parents who regularly make their kids feel ashamed for being born. But she was still so young… basically a minor (I don’t think 18 is really an adult though, still a teen to me).
