I am so, SO proud of this page you don't even know :D
They are inside the apartment FYI, I know it looks very different to chapter 2 (where they were also inside the apartment at the same time of night).
I was never truly happy with the ugly yellows I used in ch2 - they were purposeful and meant to give a 'cheap apartment with cheap lightbulbs feel', but I think the overall visuals suffered for it.
Still tried to keep the yellow feel there, but with our fave colour - purple, in the mix as well, lol.
beautiful as always! also i love muddles’ little face and how blaire picks her up and she’s just hanging out lol
everyone is very cute on this page but muddles is the highlight for me
I guess I was wondering … how common is it to be dating like Riley and Blaire are, living in the same town, in the same area, without any particular reason to not live together… and NOT live together? Maybe Iโm just a uhaller at heart but Iโve never had a relationship go past 6 mo. And not been at least LOOKING to find a way to live together. And in the meantime basically living together with extended โcrashingโ at each otherโs places lol. Might Riley end up with that situation on her hands with Blaine ๐ can only imagine if the conversation takes a turn. Really is radfem/gendercrit pastel gothic, in terms of art and plot. The tension you know? Like the community is haunted.
I sadly do not have many lesbian or bi woman who are woman partnered friends (partly just a small social circle donโt get out much thing) and those I have are temperamentally like me โ dating is with a view to moving in if all is well โ so I fully admit my perspective on all that might be warped/unaware
One last comment/question โ Yonique is SUCH a name for a female only bar… it took me a bit but once I caught the โyoniโ reference I was floored with how appropriate it is. For my question, any places like this existing โabove groundโ right now? Anywhere? Does anyone know? I can only imagine the legal challenges and jackasses just reading about when Daly tried to teach 1 all female womenโs studies class, or learning about Mitchfest.
