Man, sorry I haven’t commented in a while! Liking where the comic’s going though ofc, it’s so good at building tension.
I admit that, so far, I haven’t really enjoyed Riley as a character very much even though I wanted to just because of how almost every scene she was in showed her being helpless and uncomfortable and conflict-avoidant. I’ve loved the scenes where she was happier – like meeting Jaden, showing Jaden around on the scooter, and going to the zoo with Blaire – but most of the rest of the time it felt like Riley’s presence was just training me to feel sad.
But in spite of not loving her as much as I want to, I still find Riley really understandable and sympathetic, and this chapters synopsis has really made me eager to see the logical conclusion of all the crap that she’s been put through finally being too much for her.
For the comic this week, I have to say Lmao @ Blaire quietly sulking over Ari being the MC of the housewarming party given that she wanted the job herself…
