this week’s silly:
Know that there exists a draft, where a Blaire/Jaden/Riley threesome takes place, but it clashed too much with the rest of the story’s tone, so alas, in the drafts it will stay. Apostate Riley, incidentally, has also been barred from the writer’s room.

She’s falling apart at the seams. All of this will come to a crash and Blaire will feel that she has been blindsighted. I hope that when it happens, that she will blink and say earnestly ‘I didn’t know I was hurting you that bad Riley. I’m sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing by being open minded. But I see that I was wrong. I hurt you. I’ve been unintentionally hurting other women.’
Then she cries.

I really am enjoying spending a bit more time in Riley’s head proper. We’ve spent less time with her thought processes and memories than Jaden’s, and it is disheartening to see how much she still sees herself as a monster. I really hope we’ll see more of this, and how her upbringing still affects her thinking as things come to a head… While we have known about her growing up in some kind of high-control environment for a long time, I hadn’t previously appreciated just how vulnerable this left her for Blaire’s brand of holier-than-though cult-like “your thoughts are literally harming people” approach to activism

I feel so bad for Riley, she feels so responsible for taking care of Jaden as well… But I think Jaden won’t fall for the gender nonsense… Also, I’m curious to what opportunity she saw with her third eye 👀 👁️…

Also can I just say the ANXIETY I am experiencing at the thought of Riley in this inrecdibly precarious social situation + no previous experience with alcohol + alcohol??? If I wasn’t 100% certain that things won’t get entirely out of control / super confrontationaly until the housewarming party (because they housewamring party still has to happen, right? There’s been so much buildup for it) I would be sick with nerves

Does Apostate Riley’s hair say “Nectar near?” I can tell it says something, but that’s my best guess as to what.
Wait, no, after doing a proper zoom in, I can see it says “Devil’s Nectar.” I still love it (and her little tail.)
