When Alexis mentioned wanting to get back into dating and wanting a girlfriend this time, I thought that was smart. It’s good to test the waters and see Jaden’s response, if Jaden answers favorably towards having a girlfriend or expressing interest in having a girlfriend, too!
When Alexis mentioned “I’m hoping to find a woman who’s smart… strong…” I thought that was also a good technique because once Alexis confesses she likes Jaden, Jaden can think, “Does she think I’m smart and strong? :D”
AND THEN ALEXIS JUST WENT FOR IT LOL!!! All hints and subtlty went out the window, she went RIGHT for it!! But you’d established they’d been having a close friendship for quite a long time and very comfortable with each other, so it isn’t weird or out of the blue for her to confess like this! I wonder what Jaden will say to this??
