    Didn’t wanna flood the caption with too much but!! I’m looking into putting a forum/discussion board onto the LB site for a more organised/in-depth way to discuss LB. Currently on vacay, but once I get back to my computer it’ll be in the works ! Would love to hear your thoughts 🥰

      i definitely had SU in mind when I wrote it, but more for how gendies got super attached to it than anything else.


      Unlike SU, the Star-Shifter creator didn’t troon our or anything. Probably just said something benign on LB-twitter and the gendies responded by “reclaiming” it from the creator as “trans media”. Even tho there was no thought about trans bs put into it.


      Just a normal kids cartoon where alien creatures fight a villain of the week by shapeshifting.

      As for Elissa’s “”terf-phase”” you may wanna check her bio if you haven’t come across this talking point/lie gendies employ. Often they say it just to bolster their warnings to others about how evil radical feminists are “trust me, I WAS one. They want trans genocide and to do genital checks at every bathroom!”

    Congrats Rusty, you write the QT gang really well. Everytime they speak I get physic damage. Them calling Jaden by male pronouns feels so gross. They don’t even know her!
    Just… Why can’t gendies just BE gendies by themselves without trying to gendie-fy other people? I know a tif. She once asked me if I really identified as a woman. A while later she was asking my sister if she ever questioned her gender or thought about binding! (the tif in question does not bind.) Both of us were minors when she asked us these questions btw.

    Ah yes…. Elissa’s “terf phase” as in *checks notes* recognizing sex is real.
    Anyways. The “club” vibe to gender shit really shows through here with ‘scaring her away.’ If it was actually inherent, that wouldn’t be able to happen. But also— god poor Riley. But good on her for having enough backbone for that at least.
    Also, this reminds me more Sailor Moon now with the star shifters. Gendies get so mad when you point to that interview of the creator with sailor uranus saying she doesn’t know why people in the west get so hung up on/think she isn’t a woman still and it must be a cultural difference. They get SOOOOOOOO mad about it lol

    I just keep picturing Tiffany’s boyfriend as my ex co-worker and know he’s probably just like my ex co-worker. Said ex co-worker told me the first time I worked with him that he was bi and talked about his ex-boyfriend and I was so happy at first to have another bisexual as a co-worker. Buuuut turns out his ex was a TIF, and he would even go on these rants about how he hated that people assumed that just because he’s bi that he likes dicks because he said he didn’t find dicks attractive at all and would never touch someone else’s dick, ah yes so bisexual of him 🙄

    And then he would also talk about how he didn’t understand why “other” gay and bi men were offended by slurs like f*ggot and would go on rants about how “other” gay and bi men are too easily offended.

    Anyway I find it incredibly easy to picture Tiffany’s boyfriend like that, like calling himself bi or even gay despite being a straight man and thinking he has the right to speak on behalf of actual same sex attracted men :/
