    It breaks my heart to see her beating herself up like this. Poor Riley 🙁

    I completely get the women who are frustrated with her, but this is such a good depiction of the paralysing anxiety that comes with this kind of self-policing that I can’t find it in me to feel anything other than hope that she’ll make it out the other end ok. She’s so well-meaning, too! You can really tell that there’s a reasonable thought process in there begging to be let out.

      Nailing Riley’s thought process was difficult and took a lot of refining so I’m really happy to see it understood by readers. 🥰🥰
       
      I also completely understand women who find ber frustrating. Hell, I’ve imbued Riley with many traits *I* find frustrating. But I’m glad you can have empathy for her as well!
