My health has made drawing very difficult the last few months. It was a real struggle to do the latest page (you'll probably notice as much in the speedpaint) but I wanted to leave on a good cliffhanger. I am out of backlog pages now, though, so I have decided to take a break.
I promise that I am not dying, and am not quitting Lease Bound, but I do need to prioritise my health. Originally I wanted to set a date of when I'll be back, but it just made me feel like I needed to work the entire time until that point to get a decent backlog going, which kind of defeats the purpose of taking a break 😅 (My friends tell me I am very bad at relaxing).
So, while I don't have a return date in mind, it won't be during 2025**. I'm going to miss all your insightful and funny comments every week. Thank you for your support so far.

Just yesterday I thought, “I’m glad I have Lease Bound, because the only other webcomic I’m interested in that’s updating is only just bearable (for now) because it’s got cool sci-fi stuff despite the ingrained Gendie garbage.”

I just read through your comic in one night. It’s so refreshing to see something like this be posted! I love art and making gay ocs but the amount of TQIAs in the online art community is so exhausting.
