I’m not trans and still struggle with fully getting the trans experience at times but this is blatant caricatures and incredibly disrespectful. Imagine if a homophobic person introduced lesbian and gay characters in their series with harmful stereotypes and portrayed them as predators out to hurt straight people and then told people that it’s okay because they’re “not saying all lesbians and gays are like this!!!” and then said any lesbian or gay person offended was just anti straight people or oversensitive. I really hope in the future you’re one day able to look back at this and realize that trans people are people just like you and I, and if not I really feel bad for anyone you know IRL if they come out as trans because you clearly will see them as a monster and will treat them terribly.

Marcie looks exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) like a former friend of mine after she “came out as nonbinary”. The glasses, the hair colour, the hair cut (“I can finally cut my hair now that I know I am nonbinary! Women don’t have short hair so I couldn’t do it before I found out I am nonbinary”), the makeup, the clothes, the body shape, the “online dating” with a woman to prove something… It’s uncanny.
