Alrighty ladies, out of the clown car and back on the normie bus you go!

I actually went out and took pictures and played around with some filters to make the backgrounds on this page! The normie trio are walking on  Rundle Mall a two way pedestrian street in Adelaide's CBD.

Also, thank you for the suggestions re: RedBubble. I've added another sticker for all the Muddles fans  - and am currently working on a Jaden one B)

    Oh my goshhhh Faith has gorgeous eyes! I love the tint they are on this page, I have a few pairs of purple contact lenses and one pair is pretty close to the shade hers are in this page 😅
    Also I love the hairy legs!

    The heavens have opened, the birds are singing, the sun is shining but not too intensely.

    Just gonna drink in this page (so gorgeous) and furiously scrub the previous pages that shall not be named from my brain and heart…

    …What pages? Huh? What am I talking about? There’s just Jaden having beautiful normie adventures, that’s the topic of this chapter. Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.

    (Obsessed with the metallic reflections and the sheer gorgeous color of this page. The layout of them walking with the background panels is so fun. Everything is just really vibrant and nice to look at. )

    I absolutely love your panel composition, i would love to make my own comic in the future and you have been such a huge inspo 😍 each page looks so well made and unique. I hope one day I will be at least half as good as you.

    On the other hand, yes, finally back to the wholesome trio and away from the horror show that is the gendie club 😞

      OMG thank you! I have a lot of fun thinking up how to lay out pages. It’s a really enjoyable challenge for the most part – and it definitely gets easier with time.
       

      I feel like I do my best right after being on a manga kick – which I feel often have really great composition!

    Finally, some good food after all the clown town. And I seriously love how you made the page! And if someone tells you is “cheating” to use photos, tell them to pound sand since manga or comic artists do the same with a complicated perspective! Is so nice to see you growing art wise!

      Thank you! It’s funny – I actually got the idea to do the backgrounds of this page like this because I’ve been on a bit of a manga kick. I love looking at physical copies especially tbh, it’s so motivating!
       
      It was fun to go get pictures of the actual location too.
       
      Path to working smarter not harder, and letting go of bad art advise (like calling time-saving cheating) is a journey in and of itself! Getting there tho.
       
      I used to bar myself from using transform/resize/rotation tools, or copy and pasting panels not that long ago because I thought it would make me a bad artist 💀💀

      Thanks, but I wasn’t seeking permission on this front. I will be using similar timesaving techniques in the future.
