I say it often, but I really love your use of colour!
I just realised something… Josie’s talking here about wanting to act on stage. And back on Chapter 9 Page 14, we learnt that her son Jacob was starring in the school musical. So it seems as though she’s now getting the chance to live her dreams through her son, and that can’t make Jaden feel any better about her situation…
You know what? I may not share all your views on trans stuff, but credit where it’s due, you know how to craft a story and foreshadow things subtly.
