    1. Super sleuth πŸ˜πŸ”

  2. Jaden is me fr, no thought about what I wanted to do after graduating rip

    1. Highly relatable U_U

  3. I love how soft and wistful Josie’s expressions are when she talks about being an actress. <3

    1. Thank you! I really enjoyed capturing her expressions for this page.

  4. aaaa the mother-daughter dynamic between josie and jaden rly gets me in my feelings… good stuff !

    1. Me too big time! It’s been an emotional rollercoaster to write for them ❀

  5. I say it often, but I really love your use of colour!

    1. Thank you!

  6. I just realised something… Josie’s talking here about wanting to act on stage. And back on Chapter 9 Page 14, we learnt that her son Jacob was starring in the school musical. So it seems as though she’s now getting the chance to live her dreams through her son, and that can’t make Jaden feel any better about her situation…

You know what? I may not share all your views on trans stuff, but credit where it’s due, you know how to craft a story and foreshadow things subtly.

    1. Thank you very much! It’s always incredibly rewarding to hear from very perceptive readers.

You might also notice in the final panel of CH10P22 Jacob’s report card has an A in “Drama”. And despite the rest of his grades being B+Cs he is praised the same as Jaden who got all A’s. πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

I think it’s very healthy to recognize that disagreeing with someone – even on a fundamental, core belief – doesn’t remove their ability to be talented or wellspoken.

There are many women who have trans identities who I think are talented as well.
