    Oh my god, Blaire, wake up. I know she’s not going to, or at least not for a long long time, and possibly not in the events of this comic, but christ. It was shit like this (among MANY other things) that made me peak. lol

      God I hear you. When writing this scene, getting a good grip on Blaire’s reactions was the trickiest. My own common sense kept chiming in saying ” no, no.. surely this would make anyone insane and peak instantly”.


      But it seems whenever I starting having doubts about how on the nose my gendie characters are.. I see an actual example of them doing exactly what I was writing LMAO 😂

      So close and yet so far. I feel gendies often get so close to marrying the concepts but never quite make the connection is because they make exceptions like this for entirely self serving reasons.


      Elissa for example, is only saying this because SHE calls herself as a transman, and obviously doesn’t fit the “masculine” description.


      She’s the subcategory of gendie woman who has been socialized to enjoy make up and dresses, and calls any critique of either misogyny (whether it’s shithole men calling her vapid and srupid, or feminists genuinely pointing out the impracticality and double standard expectations to wear them). So pretending she’s a man makes her performance of femininity feel “subversive” and “cooler” than if a woman without a gender identity was to do it.

      You appear to be suffering from a severe case of projection – just because you think people’s sexual orientations are “intangible” doesn’t mean everyone else does.


      You also appear to possess a criminal lack of reading comprehension. She’s talking about Brick’s rancid personality and beliefs, not sexuality. Gender identity is a faith based belief like any other religion.


      Idk why you’d be using lesbians as a comparison either – You think lesbians can like dick. That sexuality is intangible. So why would it bother you if someone wanted to “fix” someone’s sexuality? You think everyone can be attracted to both sexes, thus: nothing to “fix”.


      Take your gender religion and proselytize elsewhere.
